The Society of Human Resource Management is a national organization and Valdosta State University offers a student chapter to involve students in the HR field.  VSU SHRM focuses on the professional development of graduate and undergraduate students.  Meetings were held every other Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.  These meeting ranged from an introduction into SHRM to tips from those who have completed their program and can advise us on what to do to secure a job.  Each meeting fulfilled one hour of credit if the meeting fulfilled the professional requirement.
